Not airbrushing this
time, but the local Transport Police are developing a
model railway layout to use as a teaching aid on the
perils of misusing the permanent way. They have asked
us if we can help with any spare modelling items and
some general technical input. As a more-or-less
responsible member of the local community SMRS is
happy to assist our neighbourhood enforcement
colleagues, and not just because it might do us some
good if we ever find ourselves on a Merseyrail train
with no visible ticketing.
